ABOUT ME
The majority of my work is focused on exploration of styles and content whereas my current path in my paintings is to capture a diluted essence of my memories in all three places I know as home (Bryan, OH, Oxford, OH, & Saltillo, COAH Mexico) through unusual color pairings, loose and refined landscapes, and material explorations. I wish to convey a sense of dynamism through my varying brushstrokes and added materials that I hope will leave a sense of wonder with the viewer in the small details. It is not my intention to create an exact replica of any of my homes, but rather they are intended to be a feeling of being in these places.
